Steve, are you familar with TEKC? Teknowledge is a NASDAQ small Cap. company (5 million shares @ 5 3/8) that does next generation internet infrastructure work for the Dept.of Defense, has 18 years of experience in artificial intelligence, has been profitable for 19 straight quarters, they have no debt and $5 million in cash and receivables (from Uncle Sam), won a $1.4 million patent infringement settlement from Trilogy Dev. (parent of PCOR) last year, and have a new e-commerce software product that utilizes the work they do for the military by creating an artificial intelligence salesperson that assists a buyer with the internet purchase. The product (Sales Associate) impressed IBM enough to make Teknowledge a member of their BesTeam program. This company is a wonderful story that is worth investigating if you have heard of them. Thanks in advance for you opinion.http://www.teknowledge.com

Steve, Also, I would appreciate your opinion on IDT's decision to keep 66% of the net2phone stock in IDT, as opposed to taking say 20% and giving shares to existing shareholders. Many existing shareholders are upset that they are not immediately getting shares. To me, it appears to build value for long term holders of IDT. Indeed Friedman Billings already increased their price target exactly because they were now able to put a value on net2phone and assign a 66% valuation to the core business. I know everyone investesd in IDT would appreciate your comments on this also. Do you think this was a smart move by management and in the shareholders best interest?

Thank you.

Steve,

What did you think of NETP's earnings report. Q1 Revenue up 183%. The sell after the news action has taken NETP below 20 dollars, according to their earnings report what price would you put on NETP? Is a takeover by DCLK likely?

Thanks
ALTERN8

Dear Steve,

PTVL is one of your top 10 picks for 1999 for obvious reasons.

What's your personal take on LPHL - they recently bought 81% of leisureplanet.com - huge online agency in Europe, over 50,000+ hotels, largest hotel photo database, deals with Lycos Europe & Yahoo Europe, full service agency, member base of 200,000, growing at 5%/week, etc.

Best thing is their market cap is under $30 million.

Of course, it's a European net, and their valuations haven't caught on fire like the US nets. But just seems very undervalued compared to CTIX or PTVL. Even IFLY has a higher cap though IFLY's web presence is non-existant.

Wondering what you think of LPHL, and what you think of other European internets.

Thanks.
