Don, nice note. There is a global surplus of labor willing to work for willing to work for slave wages without health or environmental concerns. I don't see how pitting these workers against American workers will help US living standards. Yes some people can make huge profits like basketball stars getting paid more than all the workers in a sneaker factory. I don't know where the correct balance is but i do know that there is a danger that the quest for maximum profits goes too far. I would agree that some products should be made where there is a comparative advantage. mike
