Sarmad, yes floats for hot stocks like ebay or amzn increase with time, due to stock splits, secondaries, insider selling, what have you. That is to be expected, and as it happens, one may choose to alter one's investment strategy toward that stock, as you have already suggested. So what's your point? If it is whether I think ebay will appreciate 13-fold over the next 9 months, as it has done over the last?? Of course not. So I am now looking at the fundamentals of the company and still very much liking what I see. If the stock triples in value in the next nine months and my original $15 investment is then worth $600, I will be perfectly happy <g>.
