But the trees are what would be significant in such a stamping of price. If you're looking at a message two months or two weeks after posting, then it's remarkably easy to find the relevant price. Just press the chart link under the message and check for the price on the message date.

It's more likely that the price stamp would give rise to arguments about short term price swings -- just the kind of thing where a 15 minute delay in price can make a big difference.

In the end, I think such a stamp would give rise to more of the kind of silly arguments that cause noise in the message base.
