Doug, in short, yes, except I think Max-Pain point may be a moving
target as options get bought and sold throughout the month, and,
last-but-not-least, a piece of big unexpected news might throw off
even the smartest money of its target, ie. like due to a sudden
drop in price as a result of some real news... On the other hand
in a month with no news = no volatility, this approach might be
a "no-brainer".
