Haim, on another thread, in a another galaxy long ago, I coined the term "Chicken Trade" on the Tech Options thread and TA threads. In fact Lisa, Kevin and others made it part of their lexicon of favorite SI quotations and resources among so many others because it defined succinctly the intent of a posted trade. The intent being to scalp a high probability usually short duration opportunity due to any number factors including extreme overselling or buying, anticipation of earnings or selling on the news... conditions in which one is playing chicken with the market_ not long term investing in a company's prospects. The term has come into general use by many.
