And that's the point: You find sell-side players useful in the case of IDTC while dismissing them on behalf of PCLN. There is no difference.

In fact, the role of the investment banks is the same in all cases. They exist to hype stocks that they trade and take their piece of the capital markets.

Meanwhile, IDTC will do very well--not so much because of the IPO or the role played by the investment banks, but because of great distribution for the Net2Phone product family.
