Don, I've played BW P&D's for a while now and have never seen a BW play that gapped significantly (ie. more than 50%) finish higher the next trading day. I agree that most investors are only slightly higher up the food chain than Big Tex, but regardless, a 120% gap based on a hype speculative BW piece, is usually enough to scare away even Eturd traders. I think it is fair to say that not one person on this thread accurately predicted HAUP's unusual down and up and down-again price swings today. Yet nearly everyone -- longs and shorts alike -- is now claiming they made money trading it. Personally, I lost my butt holding only a very small short position from Friday's close. My point is that the market sometimes makes fools of us all, but that's no excuse for making us liars (except when posting on Yahoo, of course, where lying is mandatory).
