Yes. But, if you look at Rambus' history the FUD created in the DRAM industry shows that if a manufacturer has to invest millions of its own money to accomodate the new technology, even if such an investment is highly desirable from an ultimate profit picture, they will stay with othe old methods as long as possible. Lots of wailing and hand wringing. But, you are right that, eventually, one of two competitors takes the plunge and ultimately wins greater market share by doing so. My point is that Rambus will prevail but there will be blocks in the road by existing technologies and the manufacturers themselves. in all products
