3 years ago LVG predicted the NC and MSFT suddenly believes it

LVG's selling a modest (for him) amount of IBM shares portends IBM share appreciation with LVG predicting a good (1999) year for IBM .

LVG predicted long ago the NC/PC emergence and the recent $1 bln Nintendo PowerPC contract indicates IBM is prepared.

Friday's AOL deposition shows MSFT suddenly believes him :
----
" But Microsoft focused as much Friday on AOL's purchase as on future high-speed Internet access - connecting home computers and other devices over cable TV or new digital telephone lines or even using satellite transmissions.

...Microsoft lawyer John Warden pressed (AOL) Case on whether high-speed Internet connections will allow consumers to use software that isn't installed with Windows on their personal computers but housed instead on powerful machines elsewhere and "served up" to customers across data lines.

"As more people are connecting to high-speed networks, they will be able to do more useful things," Case agreed cautiously.

MSFT ducks its past by blaming the future . MSFT's recent investments suggest duplicity as it moves its "OS abuse" to the "net NC" playing field .

Almost makes one WinCE ;>)
