The keyword is capacity. Cost per gigabyte, or however measured, comes down probably in a close approximation of Moore's Law. Double the capacity in 18 months, quadruple it in 3 years. EMC's predictions are in terms of dollars of revenue. Too early of a Sunday to do the rest of the math, but there is no doubt in my mind that EMC is fine.
