Ga Bard, I appreciate your concern. Nearly all of us are holding FREE shares. Remember the majority of the thread bought PLCOP around 50 cents, and PLCO around a buck. . .so there has been ample time to 'BTS' into free shares. Anyone not holding free shares at this point is no doubt swing trading the Preferred based on their undervalued situation to the current price of the commons. . . .I have bought some "extra" preferred myself strictly on the swing trade into the website expected next week.

As for the dilution of the preferred into the common which happens on December 29, 1999 as reported by the company, we considered this issue carefully back in February or March. . .if you search the Fishing and Home threads you will see our discussion.

Regarding MMCI or UTTC, you need to research the Edgars on FILM, which is the NEW parent corporation. . . MMCI/UTTC are from outdated Edgars not current ones. . . FILM Edgars should have all your answers.

Our plan, as always, is to RE-EVALUATE the company from the beginning upon each MAJOR event or each MAJOR price change. Sometimes we keep them on our lists as longs after they go up, other times we drop them like a lead balloon, based on momentum, further developments and other data.

When we re-evaluate, we look at the company as though we have never before traded it. With all new eyes, we start all new DD with the new stock price, float, events, news and other data taken into careful consideration.

The important thing to remember here is that we are NOT starting positions here, nor are we recommending anyone start NEW positions here. . . except for the swing trade on the preferred only over the next one week. . . there are no other NEW plays on this group. . .anyone not in now is simply late to the party. And that is why we don't go around saying "buy this stock."

So like I said in last response, we will certainly call the company for the latest float numbers and outstanding numbers. I think most are here for the arbitrage type undervalue play on the pfds, frankly, which relies heavily on the common's pricing and the word spreading about the conversion ratio. . . along with the long awaited website opening and portal partnership or whatever.

I doubt if anyone here believes for a moment that PlayCo Toys will pass Toys R Us within the next 3 to 5 years . . so it is doubtful anyone is playing this as a long term hold it until the cows come home play. It was never meant to be that. . . it was never discussed in that fashion and I don't believe that anyone thinks of it as being a super long term hold.

The important thing to keep in mind about ALL the plays on this thread is this. . . We keep our long term plays safely in our LONG PORTFOLIOs, which anyone can inspect at any time by searching the links to them. EVERYTHING ELSE PLAYED HERE is either a position trade based on a future event or an undervaluation or it is a swing trade based on a pending event or other reason for immediate movement or it is a momentum trade. We are primarily SHORT-TERM traders. . . but we keep a Long-term portfolio of stocks like T, WMT and IBM. . . . NOT PLCO.

I haven't changed ANY of my thinking or have loosened my rules with this issue. They are simply positions trades like the many others we have. And after PLCO website comes out, we re-evaluate. . .and after BDE gets some serious news on an equity investment or otherwise that attracts Wall Street attention, we re-evaluate. . .and after CHRZ hits about 28 we re-evaluate.

Look at TUNE. We rode it from 4.50 to 60. . . yet upon re-evaluation, I felt it was not worth the 45 to 50 dollare asking price where it settled. . .so we dropped it. . . when it comes back into the 20's we will take another look. We rode SIEB from 11 to 70, then 25 to 40 and still we dropped it cold. Now we are looking for a re-entry and re-evaluation somewhere in the teens. We dumped ATHM, one of my favorites in the 150's and are not looking back until it drops below 100.

So as for acting responsibly with regard to PLCO. . . .the many wise investor traders here keep me in check on an almost DAILY basis with that regard. I am not ignoring filings. . .we are holding free here. . .and perhaps as early as Monday, we shall see the website open. . .and many will hit their 2nd and/or 3rd targets. So this game is wrapping up soon, IMO.
