I read that one a while ago. Eric is a regular poster on SI. I remember him talking about how much profit he was making paper trading and that he was going to try it out in the real markets. I also remember his posts when he found out paper trading and really trading were two different worlds. It must be hard to go from consistent 100% gains on paper to consistent losses in really life.

I personally think that along with paper trading you should also make very small really trades with money you are willing to lose. I would consider this the cost of admission to the game.

How do you track your trades tick by tick? I think it is very
difficult to trade on a daily bases.
