Kendall: Nice post on small caps. Over the past year or two I've come across a number of small caps; very low p/e's, terrific earnings growth year after year, fine earnings stability...but the damn stocks didn't move. Since there's only ONE thing that can move a stock price up (more orders to buy than to sell)...the key, I believe strongly, is to first identify these small cap's with great fundamentals...and then wait for volume to increase sharply. This, as Cramer would say, is the "tell". A fine company accompanied by rising volume and concomitant prices is what we should keep our eyes peeled for. It's my sense that small-mid caps are increasingly in vogue now. The Russell 2000 seems to confirm this. Go where the action is. (Lee)

TAGS..has been slaughtered for no apparent reason, nothing has changed in the company. IMHO.. TAGS is a real bargain, but I don't think anyone should buy a stock just because its a bargain. TAGS is considered one of the top 25 companies around today. The moment I spot any kind of trend change I'm ready to pounce. But like I usually say, no one knows how much it may drop before the reversal occurs..

But today when the relative strength of companies is 3 times its EPS rank, TAGS is reversed.. With an EPS rank of 97 it only has a relative price strength of 84 . To compare other companies with the same EPS rankings of TAGS according to Investor's Business daily:
FWRD EPS rank 99 Relative Price Rank 99,
FOSL EPS rank 94, relative Price rank 94,
FLEX EPS rank of 97 relative price rank 95,
BEBE EPS rank of 99 Relative Strength 95... etc.

TAGS Went from #14 rank to about #140.. Tags is not alone however, it seems that because some of the other retail stocks are overvalued like TOM, JNY, ANF, GPS, TIF,ZLC TAGS got dragged down and it is not overvalued. The other stocks I this list also dropped to about 84 relative Strength Rank.
