Don, you make excellent points. I used the term slave wages figuratively - I am sure they are happy to work so they can eat. there is plenty of blame to go around for the decline in living standards in the US. Only sustained growth in productivity can create a rising standard of living. I do question our trade policy where free trade is not fair trade. My friends father went to Korea - you can buy software there on the street( a major US export) -they copy the disk and Xerox the manuals. Mike
