A fellow transplant! LOL!

I havent seen the bumper stickers, but it makes me wonder if they have any for Pennsylvanians. <g> All of us Rust Belters fleeing for our lives (or livelihood maybe). I first came to Texas in 1994 to visit friends at UT Austin and others living in Houston, and was smitten. Besides the booming job market, its really a nice place to live if you can get used to the August heat! I live outside the Beltway on Westheimer, Ive tried to stay on the outskirts as much as possible. Compared to most cities Ive lived in, its an incredibly friendly and easy going city. Very nice.

Good to know I have such interesting neighbors, between Jacalyn in Dallas and you in Houston. :)
