Per CNBC these downgrades took place over y2k third party vendor
concerns...no specific problem related to any of the institutions
downgraded...Hmmm...The beginning of a trend?

RESEARCH ALERT-CSFB cuts Citigroup, others to sell
NEW YORK, May 24 (Reuters) - Credit Suisse First Boston said on Monday it
cut its rating on shares of Citigroup Inc. (NYSE:C - news), Chase Manhattan
Corp. (NYSE:CMB - news), J.P. Morgan and Co. (NYSE:JPM - news) and Bank One
Corp. (NYSE:ONE - news) to sell from hold.

-- BankBoston Corp. (NYSE:BKB - news) lowered to hold from buy, the firm
said.
