Take a look at PTEK. Could be a CMGI. Will own 5mm HLTH after
merger. Has 4 other ventures, one to have IPO in about 2 weeks.
Let us know your opinions.

Judy:

Fortune has a write up on net companies this week. May give a boost to the sector this week (or Monday morning anyway).

I read in PC magazine Windows 2000 will be released in October (the 32 bit version) with the 64 bit version to be released in 2001 to 2002. With Office 2000 and Windows 2000 I can't see MSFT not taking off sometime this summer.

I see CSCO is alligning with IBM vs. INTL on I/O. Not sure of the impact with WIND (but any delay is a negative). I also read Balmer indicated the industry has to come up with an I/O standard. I hope we don't see what occured with the COMS and ASND standard in early 98 on the 56 modem or WIND will back to $12.

Looks like INTL may start branching out more into networking and hosting.

QCOM is rolling out a new Palm product and I discovered a small company Alpha Industries (AHAA) that makes the GA chips going into the PalmVII. (I only discovered it after seeing a want add last Sunday in the Boston Globe where they're adverstising for a whole second shift on their chip line). I didn't buy any shares this week as the stock moved up all week till dropping late Friday. The company also makes chips for MOT that go into the new star trac (I need to do more DD)

ON Friday I purchased some MRVC (for their analyst meeting this week, super comp in 3 weeks and hopefully an announcement of a contract with China) and had a partial fill on CYMI (hopefully I'll get my price tomorrow, market willing).
