re-read my post.. i edited it.. and yes, it does set the stage and was worth the ticket... i think episodes 2 and 3 will be his finest yet... he'll take what he did wrong here and mix it with the ever growing technology advances in computer FX and they'll be great.. I would recommend everyone go see it, but just lower your expectations and get ready to be annoyed by that idiot character with the squeaky-you-can't-understand-what-I'm-saying voice for the first half of the film. just hope george is alive for along time so he can finish books 2 and 3... and maybe even do 7,8,9 sometime before 2010. jim
