I appreciate the statistics.....I've done similar studies. What I should have said was.... "I have a hard time goin both ways... it's a personal thing. I am bent to think 'positive' all the time.....this mentality keeps me ALWAYS looking for the next great stock to BUY.... the ones that have the possibility of being a 5 bagger at the least.... and being that I spend all my time looking for great 'long' potentials it follows that I don't understand the people that go the 'other' way." To each his own. And one other thing.... I never ever EVER have sleepness nights. At some point a 'short' is gonna get caught and until the trade is completed I would guess a 'shorts' blood pressure could be elevated at times. But again...to each his own. Myself...I don't and can't handle that kind of stress. Investing the way I do it gives me all the excitement than I can handle... :-) .

Keith,

I have always been told if a stock shorted heavily breaks $35.00
and holds to back up the truck because it will see $50.00.
What does your stats show?

1. Approximately 65% of these issues will gap up, 10% open flat, 25% gap down the following day.

It's like HAUP will gap down at the opening. This is a very bad sign for current longs.
