Mike: Even though I couldn't tempt you into looking at Leap Wireless, offspring of the Q, is there any possibility that you can fit in an in depth look at JDS/Uniphase? As you know, I see wireless and fiberoptics as the complimentary future for data transmission. Used to try to make that case way back on the old AOL Fool Networking board as you may recall. For a long time I was frustrated in fiberoptics because of the scarcity of pure play fiberoptic equipment suppliers. The Q fit nicely as a wireless gorilla, but nothing comparable for fiberoptics. Seems like with the merger of JDS Fidel and Uniphase a King is emerging. Doubt will be a gorilla since don't see any handle to lock. But seems like a bright bright future looms. Know this is outside the fields of your main interest and experience and respect the idea of concentrating on areas you know well, but could you make an exception for the potential fiberoptics King?
