in the case of tomatoes, I might have a bit of a bone to pick with you on the issue of taste, Ish.

Seriously, though, the effect of the BT corn pollen on Monarch butterflies is one pretty grim reminder, using the words of a dear friend, that ecology does not consist of picking up metal cans by the side of the road; it acknowledges that changes that appear very small can, like a pebble dropped into a pool, have far reaching effects. We rarely can see how far they will reach until afterward.

The taste from most tomatoes went long ago. And yeah, yeah.. it's SOYBEANS. An oat, a soy, a bean...
