MikeM,

It might be hard to find someone shorting the stock. There aren't a huge number of shorts. The short interest remained reasonably consistent in the last 12 months. The ratio of shares outstanding to the average daily volume hasn't gotten as high as 2.0 and has for the most part remained in the range of 1.0 to 1.5.

As the recent story of Microsoft's new products continues to evolve, I would have expected the short interest to grow but that hasn't happened. Perhaps the reason it hasn't happened is the huge, consistent growth in revenues and earnings you mentioned. In spite of concerns that all of us have as reasonable, rational people who appreciate the risk, the analysts are still calling for FY2000 earnings to be almost three times the FY98 earnings, including one-time gains and charges.

Pretty impressive numbers in the past. Pretty impressive numbers still being predicted for the future.
