Oh boy, another FUD slinger. <G>

A few weeks ago I may have agreed that the K6-III was dead but apparently it will have new life kicked into it with 500 and 550 Mhz versions coming out in the next month or so. If you read this thread you'd know that the whole K6 line yields/bins made a nice leap recently. Now, mind you, Intel still has the kick a$$ fabs, volumes and yields, just so you don't get upset.
Still, I've always seen the K6-III as "fill in" between the K6-2 and K7. Even if it was on time. I just think it's an "odd" fit.
