OFF TOPIC: Are the US markets open tomorrow or is it a public holiday? When is the next US public holiday that would result in US markets being closed? Thanks for your help.

Hi Les,

Regarding this article >>AMAZON - CONFUSION OVER PRICE CUTS<<
I still don't see how they benefit by selling at 50% off, in the long run.

I used to buy my books from Amazon until I started doing a little comparison shopping - I found this source was 1/3 less than Amazon:
buy.com
Great service, books arrive the same as from Amazon, no problem.

Here's the competition set-up that buyers will access for their purchasing needs:http://jango.excite.com/xsh/index.dcg?

They do all the searching for you - same service for your buying needs at the cheapest prices.

The more successful Amazon is, the more competition they draw. Who knows where it will end???

Regards,
Skipperr
