Well, my mother's maiden name was Broëge---
Since only the Germans have this word, either the rest of us are hypocritically denying the reality of the emotion, or the Germans are lacking in the finer sensitivities.

There is a Gaelic word for the itching on the upper lip just before you take a sip of whiskey-- sgriob-- that has no equivalent in English. I guess it's just whatever seems important. Like the Spanish macho?
