The KEY to this play is the land acquisition, which has been an ongoing project for a long time. After all, without leases there is no gas to obtain. I have not heard details of location or amount acquired but I have heard that land is being acquired. This is a change from a year or two ago when due to lack of funds, my impression, although I was never told this, was that leases had had to be relinquished. So now the play is moving in the right direction. The larger the land position, the better imho. I hope the number of acres under lease will be revealed on the new web page. I also suggested that an open forum for shareholders be included on the web page. This would be novel and it would be interesting to see if it were a net positive to a company to have shareholders have a web page based forum for discussion. One thing I will add and this came directly from the annual meeting last year..some land is for conventional, some for storage, gas and CO2 and some for coal bed production, and these are sometimes but not always the same land packages. So that makes for a more complex situation, particularly if different partners do different portions of the development.
