If you can answer that, what will you know? You surely can't conclude that central banks don't care about the market. Quite the contrary they seem terrified of it. Given the scenario you suggested just who is benefiting? Greenspan? If you have an ax to grind it won't do you any good. You're psychology will be effected and you won't be able to move though you think you remain untainted. Timing is everything? Timing is nothing if you don't know what time it is. - Ahhaha
