You don't have to own all the leases out right. The trick is to have the key areas or adjacent portions. My guess is that it's taking longer to put this play together because the area that will be involved is significantly larger than would be possible with just Epic's resources or the clout of AEC. I suspect that terms are being negotiated for property that won't be sold but rather made available for a piece of the action. The price of natural gas is expected to head straight up over the next few years and this project makes sense for more players everyday. What no one wants is a land rush until the best parts are locked up. Only the insiders know what the grand plan is and right now its hard to get any definitive information out of anyone. Watch the price of the stock it will do the talking prior to the release of any information that will be useful to the outsiders.

Cheers,

JR.

CLK,

Land acquisition reminds me another play in the same area. Dynamic Oil was acquiring the land around the Fraser river delta near Vancouver. The company put out many press release about the latest land purchases. Much excitement was generated when they hooked up with a jv to drill. The stock dropped like a lead balloon when the well came up dry (actually wet if you count water). The second dry well almost bankrupt the company. The land acquisitions may be nice, put I'm waiting for a producing well.
