Thanks for the vote of confidence in my parenting skills, Blue. I do usually trust my parenting instincts, and I am usually right, at least for my own child.

Breast feeding is great. Natural childbirth is something I thought sounded very, um, natural and wonderful until I was in labor for a few hours, at which time I wondered what on EARTH I was thinking when I thought I could do that.

I guess it might be okay in a labor that is progressing fine. My baby's head was WAY too big, and I ended up having a cesarean after 72 hours of labor that did not progress at all. I am told that pitocin, which I was on for several days, also makes labor more painful.

Now my daughter who was stuck inside me, and her huge brain, will be around the house a lot more, since we have decided to give home schooling a try. It will certainly be interesting!
