Kevin - Re: "That seems to have been the case ever since the K6 came out (only 14% gain since July 1997)."

Playing FAST & LOOSE with the FACTS ???

1. The K6 came out in April 2, 1997

2 On April 2, 1997 Intel sold for $34.75.

3. Today Intel sells for ~ $56+.

4. Intel's net rise = 61%

5. On April 2, 1997 AMD sold for $40.75

6. Today, AMD sells for $19 1/2

7. AMD's NET DROP = 52% !!!

So - Intel is UP 61% and AMD is DOWN 52% since the K6 was launched.
