You should take reading comprehension classes. Re: Your implication as per your question to me "Do you really
believe that a lens transmits a "perfect image"-- presumes a wholly fabricated by you assertion that I said a lens transmits a perfect image when in fact I said no such thing but rather, acknowledged quite the opposite. Yuk! I say, when thoroughly lied about like this.

You must be from the same school as Paul- you pop off without having a clue. Other options for what's behind this false attack include a simple intentional lying bash attempt resulting from a past disagreement over politics.

Sorry, I suppose YOU think that light passed through a lens contains less potential resolution information than film is capable of capturing too! But no, you didn't say THAT! Smart man. The light has more potential than film captures in resolution. Period. I expect Foveon will will capture significantly more of what's available from light.

Yousef, thank you for your support. It is so rare for us to agree on anything. Thank you!

DAN ... since you chose to respond to Yousef, let me reiterate something from Yousef's post ... "Clearly you are outside your 'area of expertise'." Repeat .. you are over your head. You are obviously reading these posts like they were junior college texts and they are not. They are words from people of great experience and you are expected to do your own research and to read between the lines before responding.

If you have anything further to say to me, please do so PRIVATELY. I would be pleased to handle your posts in this way rather than to clog the thread further (the CYRX thread is VERY special to me and to so many others).

Craig

Yousef, my original plan was to buy a CeleronA/466 but last night I bought a PIII/450. The price was too good to pass by.

I still have an AMD K6-2/300 box sitting on the floor of my office just waiting for the K7 to be all that it has promised for so long. But I got tired of waiting.
