Them who has DSL gets what they deserve!

Thanks for the tip on the SB Live. I checked earlier
and didn't see them. Yes, I too am guilty of not
posting the free shipping. Of course, I don't aspire
to the Bargainmaster title ... <gg>.

Dave,

Thanks for the bargain alerts. I was interested in the xpert 128, but saw it at the usual price of $83. No rebate in sight. Also, I see the Samsung at $380 I think it was, but can't find a rebate for it. Checked at NECX and at the Samsung web-site. Maybe buy.com has personalized their site for you?

jw: Thanks for the accolades <g>

RE: LAST WEEKEND'S buy.com bargains, with free shipping ...

My order, placed Sunday (or rather Monday morning) about
1:30 AM EDT, ground shipping, (DVD ROM drive, network cards,
Soundblaste live cards) arrived today, Tuesday, about
2:00 PM. 36 hours. Not bad for free ground shipping.

Sony DVD ROM claims it only works on win 98, but the web site
of the MPEG decoder card (www.Sigmadesigns.com) has NT
drivers for it. Haven't had a chance to install the
drive, though.
