been granted perhaps a few more posts... using them sparingly. (attempting to avoid any form of "hype") New rumor to report recently that I thought needs mentioning. Geac computer is reportedly discussing a takeover with mcf. Current offer is $9 a share. While ir definitely will be releasing something that came over the wire from the co. last week - confirmed by them - it was reportedly supposed to come before the weekend. Something delayed them. The $9 offer was set by a few over a couple of internet chat rooms, so I'm thinking that for the most part, the # was grabbed out of the blue. The NB takeover of First Capital fell through. Rumor too that NB was after MCF, however MCF wanted none of it. Usually when the rumor mill starts, tons of activity begins. And I am certainly not one attempting to initiate that. Hopefully nobody mistakes this. Definitely food for thought however...
