Lets say in a hypothetical sense "bottle rocket" and your short at $25. The Bottle rocket blows up at say...........$73. The stock is currently $39, first margin call should be coming in about now. Then what? Short again at $39 and get called double at $60. When the stock explodes downward, it would probably settle around $25. Where is the profit after you get bought in?
