go check again, I've had 5 calls from banks(in the last month) trying to sell me mutual funds instead of the savings account(little do they know(ha-ha) only have a few months in cash in savings account).I know of dozens which have been sold on all their savings in mutual funds -and often the people have bought them based only on last years returns and sales pitch - no knowledge of what is even in there..

did you never hear about all the warnings(and some fines) given by SEC to lists of banks for not telling customers of risk in mutual funds and that they're not FDIC insured?
