AMZN will use the money to sell dollar bills for $0.75 instead of $0.80.

Personally I'll guess that they will probably issue new stock to use as acquisition 'monopoly money' before the SEC stops the free lunch the tech companies have been getting via 'pooling of interests' merger accounting.

Going out on a limb, I think the big cap tulips have put in tops this year that won't be broken for a very long time.
