Hewlett-Packard rolls out color printer for $79

"The demand for sub-$150 inkjets is being driven in large part by the remarkable overall decline in PC prices. It's now possible to buy a respectable Windows PC and monitor for $499, after rebates. To sell printers along with such bottom-dollar packages, manufacturers obviously needed to come up with very inexpensive designs."
