Guess that was to be expected between him and 3Com, but what really happened with the others like Rockwell? My assumption is they licensed with Townshend in a normal way, so 3Com got some benefit from handling the patent defense for Townshend. Other than that...it all just served to prevent Townshend from being ripped off? Better than the alternative I guess.
