(NYSE: SBL) today introduced the Symbol SPT 1700 product family - rugged, pocket-sized computers with advanced wireless local area network (LAN) communications, Web browsing and integrated scanning capabilities, based on 3Com's popular Palm III architecture - that allows users to gather information at the point of activity.
