Barnesandnoble.com IPO price
raised--undewriter

NEW YORK, May 24 (Reuters) - The expected price range for
barnesandnoble.com's initial public stock offering has risen to $16
to $18 from $11 to $13, underwriter Goldman Sachs said on
Monday.

The online book retailer's offering of 25 million shares is expected
to be a hot one because of the company's well-known brand name, analysts said. A sharp increases
in the expected price range has become the norm for recent hot IPOs.
