Oh, I believe the benchmarks. Why would you think I didn't?
Tell me Elmer, why do you suppose the Winbench99FPUMark for a P-III
was about 40% greater than a K7? Do you "believe"?

One thing's for sure. As soon as a benchmark shows up that looks good for the K7 you guys will all believe it!

One of the fundamental principles of benchmarking is that- it is very easy to produce incorrectly low scores, but almost impossible to produce incorrectly high scores.
