granola...can't ignore t/a...for i believe the program trading parameters are set on the computers via t/a.....things happen too swiftly for man to make decisions...we are in the hands of the machines...but options still settling, this afternoon will show a bit more reality....common sense has naught to do with short term market move......but means a whole lot long term!!!!!

it has been a lot worse, but the past easily forgotten.....

rebottom
Sighs and boo hoos.
When the bottom seems to be infinity and one is on margin, a day like this is sickening.
People on this (and other) threads ask, where is the bottom, how low can it go, are we back into a bear market etc etc etc????
The true answer is
We dont know the answer until it happens.
Margin is wonderful and horrible, (as are so many things in life) all at the same time.
Good luck to all today, looks like we need it baaaaaaaad!
Yet I see no "bad news" on the news lists for Dell, AOL, Yhoo, CMGI, etc.
