Agreed totally. Many net companies have no barriers to entry, and will probably never make money as a result. EBAY does have some barrier to entry because of its established users. Why would anyone go to TMRT? Why would you go to an auction at someone's garage when you can go to the largest auction on earth at EBAY? The internet makes distances obsolete so that is not a reason. The only function of saying something like, "We are going to be competing with Ebay" or "We are going to be the next Ebay" is to hype the stock.
