VII(TM) Organizer Application 'Excite Wherever You Are' for the Mobile User
REDWOOD CITY, Calif., May 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Excite, Inc. (Nasdaq: XCIT) today announced an Excite
application for users of the Palm VII(TM) organizer, a new and wireless handheld computing product from
Palm Computing, Inc., a 3Com (Nasdaq: COMS) company, allowing Excite users to receive information
from their personalized Excite Start Page wherever they are. The move signifies an important step in
Excite's "All Band, All Device, All The Time" strategy and a continued focus on taking Excite beyond the
desktop to wireless devices. The Excite Palm VII organizer application, available immediately, can be
downloaded from www.Palm.Net.

news, sports scores, local movie ShowTime's, horoscopes, or driving directions. If the user has
registered with Excite, they can view their personalized portfolio, news, weather, sports and horoscope
on the Palm VII organizer. "By offering instant access to personalized data from the Palm VII organizer,
