Today, NATO, which is not a war, and especially not a war against the people of Serbia, has started to destroy power plants and water pumping facilities. Why not just nuke Yugoslavia and get it over with ?

Neocon, And your opinion of US savagery in the Balkans- specifically the 1995 expulsion of 100,000-350,000 Serbians from Krajina and western Slavonia by Croation Army Units armed and trained by the US, armed particularly with heavy 155mm artillery- did you stand up and protest that "ethnic cleansing"? Does it not seem hypocritical that the US stand idly by in 1995 while the above happens yet four years later cries "foul" in Kosovo? Don't you see the hypocrisy here? Ethnic cleansing is ethnic cleansing. You and I both know that the charge of "ethnic cleansing" is just a cover-up for other geopolitical interests of the US....

Neocon, Perhaps I should have compared Milosevic to Clinton rather than Lincoln. The similarities between Clinton and Milosevic have been well documented. Anyway, I think I will just do what most Americans have done and just stick my head in the sand over this situation. Bubba's lack of leadership over the Balkan situation has been frightening. The guy only cares about his poll ratings. Oh well, he only had 18 months left in office and he will be able to claim victory and leave the mess for someone else to clean up, most likely it will be the US taxpayers. -John
