add-in boards for several new corporate and consumer PC systems.
ATI's accelerators are used in the Acer Power 8000 and 6100 corporate

business, home and entertainment graphics and multimedia applications with
stellar 3D, 2D and video performance, and the solid reliability expected from

provided the opportunity to improve their competitive position,'' said Vincent
Cho, associate vice president, Acer Inc. ''We welcome the opportunity to
continue this mutually beneficial relationship.''
''ATI XPERT products are ideal for driving the leading-edge 3D graphics
and multimedia applications that can be supported by the latest, but

ATI's XPERT products, Acer's SOHO and consumer customers can take full
advantage of all the benefits offered by the most recent business and home
applications, gaming experiences, and Internet graphics.''
