no matter what you say about dell, good or bad, i realize
that dell's lofty multiple can only be supported in a bull
market but not in a bear market like this. hence, i don't
expect dell will bounce along with the whole market, i.e.,
unless the market sentiment changes from bear to bull, i
don't suggest to buy dell at this multiple.

always sell too late.

Tom, I'm aware of the S&P's pe. However, I didn't realize that the CRB was tanking, need to check on this. I thought the rise in oil and other commodities were taking the CRB up. A 10+% market correction would help to cool things off. However, we always have the Fed available to cool things off. <ggg>

I could be wrong, but I don't think there was an S&P500 in 1929.
