Kids'll eat ivy too, wouldn't you? My mother used to sing that. She wasn't much of a singer. My father's musical talent was playing In the Mood really loudly on the piano, followed by something called, Kitten on the Keys. For his finale, he sang an extremely maudlin version of Danny Boy. My mother really hated it when he drank, but people adored him. Do you mean your wife can remember lyrics perfectly? I wish I could! I can sing all the parts to things, even the instrumentals, but never the words. They just don't sink in.
