Geac is known for its acquisitions on the low side, if I remember correctly. They are always looking for a good deal at a low price. I sure hope the rumor is false. Just my opinion though.

You may be right, however I do think the general bearish attitude towards internet stocks now is well deserved and a correction is certainly needed. It will definitely allow for more scrutiny of these stocks as no doubt many investors are getting burned by the internet valuation downturn. Potential for future growth in these stocks will remain at the forefront, and stuff like margins, existing revenues, business plans, acquisitions will begin to be much more important. With that said, Microforum (we will begin to want to disassociate this stock with the rest of the internet group - which it probably should be) and companies like it, building the back end of the web will be more highly touted. Short term the general bearishness in the internet sector will continue to have an effect on the price of this stock. Long term, there is no doubt this will come out a winner with the above said. You will begin to see a lot of consolidation taking place, and Mcf will likely be swallowed by a bigger player. I choose to simply remain patient here. JMO.

Try not to be so gloomy either. The future remains very promising. And isn't that what these tech stocks are about anyway? On a level of promise scale pretending that such a scale exists, where exactly would mcf fall in your opinion in comparison to say bids, or priceline, and perhaps even amzn? Look at mcf's potential growth rate, margins, etc. etc., and remember too that they plan on seeing some black in the upcoming reported quarter which is practically unheard of in the industry. Feeling any better?.....
